The 13th De-Suung Raising Day was observed at the Dzongkhag today. Some 35 De-Suups and Dzongkhag Sector Heads attended the program.
Speaking at the function, the Dzongdag stated that the main purpose of the Raising Day is to pay tribute to His Majesty the King for the gift of the De-Suung institution, pay tribute to the De-Suups for their selfless national services, and to rededicate ourselves to nation building and community service.
