The Annual Civil Service Award ceremony for Haa Dzongkhag was conducted today. 21 civil servants received award for serving 10 years, and nine civil servants for serving 20 years.
Speaking at the function, the Dzongdag expressed deep gratitude to His Majesty the King for instituting the award. He said that the award is both an expression of appreciation and a reminder by His Majesty the King to keep serving the Tsawa-sum at the best of our abilities.
30 civil servants who received promotion with effect from 1st January 2024 were also given their promotion orders at the function.
