Today, the Japan Alumni Association of Bhutan (JAAB), in collaboration with Haa Dzongkhag Administration, Royal Bhutan Police (RBP), and Bhutan Power Corporation (BPC), with support from JICA Bhutan Office, successfully conducted the Rural Fire Safety, Awareness, and Advocacy Program at the Dzongkhag Administrative Block.
Local leaders and the Hoteliers participated in hands-on training sessions to strengthen community preparedness and fire safety awareness.
Key Highlights:
- Bhutan Power Corporation (BPC): Delivered presentations on electrical fire prevention and safety measures.
- Royal Bhutan Police (RBP): Presented on fire safety and conducted hands-on training on fire extinguisher use.
