Haa Dzongkhag had the privilege to take part in the 8th Royal Highland Festival that was held in Laya, Gasa, from 23–24 October 2025. The festival was graced by the sacred presence of Their Majesties The King, The Gyaltsuen, and the Royal Family, making it a truly auspicious occasion. Haa’s presentation of Chundu Gongzhey drew deep admiration from the crowd as a unique and spiritually profound item. The Dzongkhag also displayed its special agricultural and livestock products, took part in various traditional games, animal shows, and sports, winning several prizes. The festival was a moment of pride, joy, and unity for Haa and all highland communities.
