The five-day Introductory Course for Village Homestay Operators successfully concluded today in Haa. The training brought together 35 participants from six different dzongkhags.
Organized by the Department of Tourism in collaboration with Haa Dzongkhag Administration, the program aimed to strengthen the capacity of village homestay operators to deliver quality, safe, and authentic guest experiences. Aligned with national guidelines and the “High Value, Low Volume” tourism policy, the it also ensures that operators are equipped to manage their homestays efficiently and sustainably.
