January 5, 2025 marked the auspicious opening of our 24-day training on waste up-cycling, graciously graced by Dasho Dzongrab. Participants from schools and communities, guided by resource persons from She-Cycle Solutions, embark on this transformative journey funded by the Royal Government of Bhutan through the Haa Environment Section.
The program empowers women, youth, and community members with practical skills to convert plastic waste into innovative, marketable products- driving economic opportunities while curbing waste at source and in landfills. The training culminates on 29th January with an exhibition of participants’ creations.
