Haa Dzongkhag Administration, in collaboration with the Department of Media, Creative Industry and Intellectual Property (DoMCIIP), convened its first meeting on wood, cane, bamboo and traditional handmade product development in Haa.
The initiative brings together enthusiastic local participants who will receive hands-on training in craftsmanship, creativity, product innovation and market-oriented souvenir development. The program aims to transform locally available resources into unique, culturally inspired and market-ready products, including handicrafts, decorative items, signboards, key chains, furniture and other innovative souvenirs.
Through such initiatives, we hope to create innovative livelihood opportunities, strengthen local entrepreneurship and enhance visitor experiences across all six gewogs of Haa.
The Dzongkhag Administration extends sincere appreciation to DoMCIIP for its valuable support and continued collaboration in promoting indigenous arts, crafts and local enterprise in Haa Dzongkhag.
