Haa Dzongkhag observed the World Water Day 2025 today with a large-scale cleanup of Haa Chhu, reinforcing its commitment to environmental stewardship. A remarkable 1,265 participants, including officials from the Dzongkhag Administration, armed forces, Thromde, schools, RBP, De-Suups, JKSNR, Haa Range, NRDCL, Fishery, corporations, and Gewogs, joined hands to restore the river’s pristine beauty by cleaning 27 km stretch of the river from Damthang to Longchu. This collective effort underscores the importance of preserving Haa’s natural resources for future generations. The Dzongkhag extends heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed, making this initiative a success. Together, we strive for a cleaner, healthier Haa. Every drop counts, every effort matters!
